The new Faun album called Eden will be released tomorrow. Eden will capture you from the first note you hear. Today is the releasedate of the new Leaves’ Eyes album Meredead. After their grand Njord album this album seems to take us closer to the origins of the band. Back to the roots of especially Liv Kristine. It is a mixture of bombastic, metal and folk sounds and many wonderful languages and stories.
This year it is time for the third edition of the Fortarock festival in monumental park Brakkestein in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. On saturday the 2nd of July this park will be overflowing with some of the best metal there is to offer! In honor of All Hallows Eve a.k.a. Halloween, La Vida in Tilburg is decorated with pumpkins and dressed up people. Headliner of this Halloween Rock Fest is Miss Doro Pesch. The place is not packed but the atmosphere is great and people are excited. This is bound to be a wonderful evening.

This year the ninth edition of Metal Female Voices takes place. This metal festival with a feminine touch takes place in the Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium. The festival starts on Friday and ends on Sunday. 3 days of music, passion and fun. On Sunday the headliner is Epica, which is a well known performer at this festival.
